Catholic Bishops Pastoral Letter welcoming migrants to Ireland:
On Sunday 13th October 2024, the Bishops of Ireland published a pastoral letter to welcome migrants to Ireland. As Christians, we have a responsibility to respond to the key question of immigration across our island, and the world. This fundamental question asks, “Who is my neighbour?”, and to answer this we are informed by the parable of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:29-37).
A short video on the Pastoral Letter, and its text in short and long form, are available on CatholicBishops.ie
Copies of the Pastoral Letter are at the Church entrances, and on the noticeboard or you can scan the QR Code on the notice, to access this content.
